PLANNING NOTES · 20 OCTOBER 2026
Your first Bali trip:
two different rhythms.
Our planning suggestion: give your holiday both a discovery chapter and a slower chapter.

Begin with what you enjoy.
Before choosing hotels, decide what you want your days to feel like. If you enjoy exploring, reserve time for inland outings. If relaxation is your priority, keep more days free.
Try an inland-and-coast split.
For a six-day enquiry, our sample starts in Ubud and finishes in South Bali. This is a starting point, not a fixed formula. We can adjust the balance around your flight times and interests.
Avoid filling every hour.
Choose a few experiences you care about. Keep arrival day light, allow time between outings, and leave a day where you can decide how you feel.
Ask for a clear quotation.
Compare more than the headline price. Ask which hotels, transfers, meals, admission charges and activities are included, and review the payment and cancellation terms before confirming.
